Build what's next in finance.
Finance is changing. And the people driving that change aren't necessarily engineers.
They're CFOs, FP&A leads, controllers and treasury professionals who have started building their own tools, automating workflows and putting AI to work on real finance problems.
On 2 December, OpenAI, iBanFirst, Trame labs are bringing together 80 finance professionals and technical builders in Paris for an afternoon of building, experimenting and exchanging ideas.
The challenge
Your mission: rethink how finance teams manage and forecast cash flow.
Working in teams of three, you'll tackle real-world finance scenarios using a dedicated sandbox combining banking, payment, FX and accounting data, connectors and AI models.
From connecting fragmented data to automating reporting and building intelligent forecasting workflows, the goal is to create something that works, solves a real finance problem and has the potential to be used beyond the hackathon.
You'll have access to the tools, data and guidance you need, with finance experts and technical coaches on hand throughout the sprint.
What to expect
- Build, don't just listen. Build a scalable, auditable cash flow forecast and leave with a model you can reuse in your own company.
- Learn from your peers. You’ll work in teams of three, mixed across companies and backgrounds, so you learn from people who approach finance differently.
- Work with people who get it. Meet finance practitioners, AI-native CFOs and technical builders who are already pushing the boundaries of what's possible.
- Show what you've built. Demo your solution to a jury, get feedback and compete for prizes.
- Stay for the conversations. End the afternoon with an awards ceremony, drinks and plenty of time to connect.

Who is this event for?
This hackathon is for finance professionals who don't just want to talk about the future of finance. They want to build it.
Whether you're a CFO, FP&A lead, controller, treasury professional or finance engineer experimenting with AI and automation, or a technical builder developing tools for finance teams, you'll find people who share your curiosity and ambition.
You don't need to be a software engineer, but you should have some hands-on experience with finance workflows, data, automation or AI.
What to bring
- Your laptop and charger. You'll be building, testing and experimenting throughout the afternoon.
- Your experience. Think about the finance workflows you've built, automated or struggled with. Your perspective will be valuable to your team.
- Your curiosity. Come ready to experiment, collaborate and challenge how things are done.
We'll provide the sandbox, credits, tools, data and technical support. You bring our experience.
A few things to know
Participation is free, but places are limited.
Applications will be reviewed to bring together a group of finance practitioners and technical builders who can actively contribute to the experience.
