The third edition of HackBarna is coming.

Join more than 150 hackers at Norrsken House Barcelona for two days of building, workshops, technical sessions, demos, and networking.

Whether you build with no-code tools, vibe coding, AI-assisted development, or a full-code stack, you are welcome to participate.

Who can participate?

HackBarna AI Summit 26 is open to:

You do not need previous AI or hackathon experience. Workshops and mentors will help participants get started, explore ideas, and turn them into working projects.

What can you build?

Build an original AI-related:

• App
• Website
• Game
• Developer tool
• No-code or AI-assisted experience

Projects should be started during the hackathon. You may brainstorm and prepare ideas beforehand, but the submitted project should be created during the event.

Teams

Teams can have up to three members.

Coming without a team is completely fine. Team formation and networking are part of Saturday morning, giving you an opportunity to meet other participants and find collaborators.
If you apply as a team make sure each individual applies.

How does the AI Summit hackathon work?

It is a two-day, in-person build at Norrsken House Barcelona. Saturday covers registration, the opening keynote, team formation, workshops, and hacking. Sunday finishes with submissions, project demos, judging, and awards.

Who can participate?

Developers, designers, entrepreneurs, and AI enthusiasts of all skill levels are welcome. No-code, vibe-code, and full-code builders can all take part.

Do I need coding or AI experience?

No. HackBarna is about learning and building together. Workshops and mentors will help participants get started, whether they use prompts, AI tools, or a full-stack codebase.

What can I build?

Build an original AI-related app, website, game, tool, or prototype that follows the event theme and guidelines.

Can I work on an existing project?

To keep the playing field level, teams should start a new project during the hackathon. You can brainstorm and prepare ideas before the event.

What if I do not have a team?

No problem. Team formation and networking are part of Saturday morning, so you can meet other participants and build a team at the event.

How big should my team be?

Teams should have no more than three people. We want to make sure everybody gets a chance to participate and contribute.

When and where does the hackathon take place?

The hackathon runs September 19 and 20, 2026, at Norrsken House Barcelona.

What should I bring?

Bring your laptop, charger, and any technical accessories you need. Food and drinks will be provided during the event.

Can I participate remotely?

No. AI Summit 26 is an in-person event at Norrsken House Barcelona.

Can I sleep at the venue?

No. Overnight stays are not allowed at the venue. Doors close at 11:00 PM on Saturday and reopen at 9:00 AM on Sunday. Please arrange accommodation and transport accordingly.

Who owns the intellectual property for my project?

Participants retain ownership of their intellectual property. Organizers may request repository access to verify that the project was built during the event.

Is there a Code of Conduct?

Yes. The HackBarna Code of Conduct applies to everyone. Be respectful. Harassment and abuse are never tolerated.
